Work wear fashion has gone through a lot of changes over the last few years; Gone are the boot-cut trousers with its matching blazer worn with the usual white shirt. Thankfully, we are able to express ourselves a little more in the office with women choosing to wear colorful dresses, high wasted skirts and some are even wearing shorts. Although, wearing shorts is still seen to be a rarity and it depends a lot on the industry and office environment that you are working in,
However, forgetting the supposed controversy of wearing a pair of shorts to the office, we are now seeing more women rocking leggings to work. These aren't the low end leggings that leave little to the imaginations - no - these are made in different materials to retain our modesty but still maintaining the fit.
I admit that I would have to let someone else have the honour of being the first lady in the office to rock this trend but I am appreciating some work-wear leggings that are popping up on the high street.
Are leggings right for the work place?
I think they can be, if styled appropriately. I am interested to see if this takes off. If so, I will have to get some shorts ready for the summer months,
